Description

An original 1st mono press of MM on the UK HMV label. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 1G/1G - It's not often that you can say this..This Lp was pressed from THE original 1st stamper ever manufactured under the EMI system [1G]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with flipbacks. 
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio delivered is top-level and reveals this classic title to maximum effect. Great clarity and, no doubt, this being aided by the preservation levels and that very first 1G stamper. Interference is largely absent. I couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. An outstanding player ...most definitely a keeper.
Cover (Ex-) Lovely clean front cover without the creasing you so often find. The rear looks great too and has avoided much of the ageing process. All flipbacks are intact an secure. Edge wear is slight and the spine 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
