Manfred Mann's Earth Band- Glorified Magnified. 1972 UK First Pressing 10 Track Vinyl LP in Gatefold Sleeve. ( Philips 6308 135)
This is a Radio Luxembourg Library copy. It has " Radio Luxembourg ( London) Ltd Property of the record library" stamped on the front cover, in the middle of the Gatefold and on the inside of the sleeve
From The Collection of UK Radio legend Tony Prince ( Radio Luxembourg/ Caroline etc) Purchased at Omega Auctions earlier this year where Tony was selling off his entire collection of music and memorabilia to fund the survival of his current radio station. I will be selling a few of the other Manfred Mann items that I bought that day and do not want or have duplicates of over the next few weeks and months.
Play Tested/ Strictly Graded:
Vinyl-Ex+In lovely condition. Beautifully clear and crisp audio, Visually it looks shiny and clean, a few sleeve scuff marks visible under strong light Can't have been played often. Ex+
Sleeve- Ex. Shows only minor shelf wear with the beginnings of some ringwear front and back with a few light marks. See pics
This will come with a new pvc protective outer sleeve ( single) , a new white inner along with the original poly inner sleeve.
Please not that I am only posting out using Royal Mail Signed for delivery at the moment as the postal service is more erratic than usual due to the ongoing situation. I do not make a profit on Packaging and Shipping,in fact I lose money on every order due to the fact that I use quality Record Mailing boxes/ stiffening pads and usually include a new pvc and new inner sleeve with most orders. However:
I Will combine shipping with any of my other items. Just add purchases to your basket and request an amended invoice ( this Only works on the full eBay site on PC/ Mac and not on the mobile app. or pay separately and I will refund the excess postage amount on dispatch.
I use the Record Collector Grading System sometimes with a + or - to indicate that it's slightly better or slightly worse than that.
Mint- The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT; The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD; The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR; The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. I will not sell any vinyl below this grade.
