Manhunter & To Live and Die In L.A. vintage vinyl Soundtrack LPs from 1985:
This is a listing for a pair of great soundtrack LPs from 1985: Manhunter (MCA Records, 1985) & To Live and Die in L.A. (Geffen Records, 1985). Each of the films' top directors (Michael Mann & William Friedkin) have always carefully chosen the music that goes into their films and these are fine examples of that fact. Brit new wave trio Wang Chung handle the tunes for Friedkin's crime thriller classic while Mann has a platoon of tunes from diverse genres & bands handle his thriller masterpiece (love those tunes by Shriekback!). Trivia: both directors have used the great electronic band Tangerine Dream for soundtrack duties in the past. Ships well packed in a corrugated cardboard box specifically shaped for LPs via Media Mail.
