Hi, here for auction (sadly) is a very rare 1994 Picture Disc of the Manic Street Preachers' seminal The Holy Bible.
This was only issued at the time of the original 1994 release in extremely limited numbers.
The item is in overall superb condition; there are some inevitable slight signs of storage wear/creasing to the cover & insert. On Side A of the disc (upper right region) there is a small area with very minor fading to the white; I am only stating this for the sake of completeness and honesty, and as I say it is so slight that it does not even show up on my high-resolution photos.
This is a superb example of a truly rare record and these have become even harder to obtain in recent years. This is compounded by us devout Manics fans who don't easily let go of anything of rarity related to the band.
Reason for selling: is only due to having sell my Turntable (Thorens TD-145) which I never even got to use. After developing an interest in HiFi nearly ten years ago and was attracted to the vinyl approach/sound I began to buy some records before actually getting a Turntable, and soon after I did I no longer had the room to have a proper HiFi setup. This record was purchased right here on eBay around five years ago, and has been stored in optimal conditions.
