About the Album:

Released in 1982, Battle Hymns is the debut studio album from American heavy metal legends Manowar. The album helped establish the band's signature epic sound and fantasy-inspired themes that would become hugely influential in the power metal and true heavy metal genres.

Produced by Jon "Bowzer" Bauman of Sha Na Na fame, the album features the classic lineup of Eric Adams, Ross the Boss, Joey DeMaio, and Donnie Hamzik. The title track, "Battle Hymn," remains one of the band's most celebrated songs and a staple of their live performances.
