Description

CONDITION EXCELLENT on this 1948 CAPITOL record release with "BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE" as several recordings of this song emerged in 1949, the most popular of which was by Margaret Whiting and Johnny Mercer, backed by the Paul Weston Orchestra. Whiting was a popular singer of the era, but Mercer was better known as a lyricist - he later penned the words to "Moon River." Their version went to #4 on the Billboard chart that year and on the flip side is "I NEVER HEAR YOU SAY" on CAPITOL 57-567 a 10" 78 rpm record --- please see photos for overall condition

This record will be securely packed in a new 12x12x4 box sandwiched between cardboard stiffeners and floating in a paper fill.
