WELCOME TO MY AUCTION!!!
The item you are bidding on is a rare copy of Marillions 1983 single "Garden Party" in picture disc form.
What makes this item so rare is that it is one of the recalled original pressing of this single. Some problems with the original pressing process resulted in the knife blade of the jester image being ripped during manufacture. These discs never reached the shops and were stored at the processing plant. I'm not exactly sure of the numbers involved in this pressing error but I'm sure there weren't many, and even less appear for sale. If you look closely at the picture you can see the broken blade. I have described it as used basically because I've played it once, then stored it in a plastic sleeve in my collection.The condition of this item is mint.
The B side features a live version of "Margaret" recorded at Edinburgh Playhouse on April 7th 1983.
