Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Marillion – Script for a Jester's Tear – Deluxe 4LP Box Set Vinyl LP album from 2020.
Deluxe 4 vinyl LP Box Set.
SIGNED on the front by "Fish".
PLEASE NOTE: Damage to the bottom right corner of the box, hence the price. I will not reduce the price so please don't ask. I will keep it if I don't get the starting price.

Vinyl Condition: VG/EX (Owned by myself from new and only played once. A few light sleeve lines but lovely condition and playback. There is however a slight audio fault at the start of side 4 "Grendel" where there is some audible vinyl hiss for the first 30 seconds or so. This seems to be a well known fault of this deluxe pressing and affects most if not all copies. My other copy was exactly the same. Apart from that lovely condition and playback. No sticks or jumps. The records have of course been placed in new polylined inner sleeves to keep them clean and tidy and to protect the card picture inners).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG A couple of the inner card sleeve has slight corner creases to the bottom right. Otherwise ok).
Outer Sleeve Condition: Fair (Box would have been perfect but sadly has damage to the bottom right corner. This is how it arrived when it was sent to me from new. The front of the box has the bottom right corner bashed in and split. The back of the sleeve also has similar damage to that area but also has an approx 6cm split to the box due to the bash. Please study the pictures of the damage. This is a real shame I know but it is still presentable and is SIGNED by Fish so still a lovely item to have).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
