Marilyn Monroe 3oz solid silver lp/ep record disc, rare vintage collectors item

Description

You are looking at an extremely rare Marilyn Monroe collectors item.
This is a completely original solid silver record, from MGM commemorating Marilyn Monroe's career with some her most famous songs.
Disc is stamped as Lincoln Mint, 3 troy ounces of .999 solid silver. Please note the disc is made of solid silver, this is not silver coloured and has the markings to evidence the quality.
It features 2 tracks on each side: -
side 1: A little girl from little rock & diamond's are a girl's best friend side 2: aint there anyone here for love & when love goes wrong
Comes in a solid wooden presentation box with a metal engraved plaque on the front (see images). The box does have a couple of scratches, but again is expected with something of this age, shows it wasn't made yesterday.
Centre of the disc is domed with the old MGM logo on it, again showing its age.
Believe it can be played - it has the record engravings but I do not have a record player to check.
I only know of another one of these going to auction in the past few years, so it is a very rare thing I understand. Believe me you will struggle to find another one of these anywhere.
Buy it now price is less than the value estimated by a specialist Hollywood memorabilia auction house in the USA, who would auction at $200 USD +
This is an absolutely genuine item, from around the early 60's although it is so rare there is little information on it. This is not a replica, copy or cheap fake it is a real vintage record. The item will only increase in value with time due to its rarity. Selling because it is just sat in the drawer, we're not huge Marilyn fans so best someone else enjoys it.
Will post worldwide, please contact me for a quote - I've listed £20 worldwide but could vary depending on location so please check first!
Any questions or for more photos, please ask.
