Description
Marilyn Powell
Kiss Me Again (Adios Amor) / Something to Hold On To
(CBS UK 1968) VG+
How to classify this beauty? It will certainly appeal to the Northern Soul crowd, but also pop sike collectors and even Gallagher and Lyle completists, as they penned this amazing ditty. Whatever, this is just a fantastic 60s tune, with all the joy and imagination prevalent at that time that collectors like me cherish. And for some unfathomable reason "Something to Hold On To" was relegated to the B side. Crazy. The A side is a sappy euro ballad, nicely produced but pretty forgettable stuff really so I haven't bothered uploading it. Condition is fine with some light scuffs but nothing affecting play, so VG+. Comes in slightly creased company bag and there is an old shop sticker on the A side label.
Listen to the B side taken from the actual 45 for sale:
Side B: Something To Hold On To:
Grading
M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.
EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound
VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.
VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
