Mark Knopfler - Local Hero LP 1983 Vertigo VERL 4 NM/EX UK Film Soundtrack Dire Straits
Original 1983 UK pressing of Local Hero, the acclaimed film soundtrack by Mark Knopfler, released on Vertigo Records (catalogue number VERL 4). The vinyl is in near mint (NM) condition—looks barely played with a pristine glossy surface and flawless playback, delivering superb audio with no skips, pops, or surface noise. The sleeve is excellent (EX), showing only the lightest signs of storage wear along the edges and corners, with strong spine text and vivid cover artwork. Includes the original poly-lined inner sleeve, also in excellent condition. This instrumental soundtrack, composed by the Dire Straits frontman, blends Celtic, rock, and atmospheric moods, featuring the iconic track Going Home—a fan favourite and sports stadium classic. A top-quality copy for collectors of Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits, and vintage soundtrack vinyl.
