Description
1 of 2,000 copies of Mark Kozelek's Duk Koo Kim 10" LP (and 1 of only 1,000 black vinyl copies released in the US). This record features two spectacular versions of one of Kozelek's most unforgettable songs, originally recorded by his band Sun Kil Moon as part of Ghosts of the Great Highway. This 10" vinyl was released in September 2003 by Vinyl Films.
The A side is a 10+ minute acoustic version of "Duk Koo Kim" recorded at Badman Recording Studio in San Francisco, CA. The B side is a 9+ minute live version recorded at Luna Music in Indianapolis, IN. Both tracks differ significantly from the original version of the song.
Album has never been listened to, is in MINT condition, and is packaged loosely in a plastic sleeve (not factory-sealed). It is marked on the back as "Limited Edition 00071."
On a personal note, "Duk Koo Kim" is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard! If you have even a moderate appreciation for Kozelek, this is a must-have, below-the-radar album.
