Description

This sale is for Mark Kozelek - Live at Union Chapel & Sodra Teatern.  Mark's the lead singer/songwriter for Sun Kil Moon and previously the Red House Painters.  He's one of my favorites and probably yours as well since you're looking at this.  

Taken from the 2010 European tour behind Sun Kil Moon’s Admiral Fell Promises, Kozelek shines brightly on this live collection taken from two of that tour’s shows. Highlights include live record debuts of a handful of Admiral’s best tracks, including 'Third and Seneca', 'Bay of Skulls', and a haunting rendition of 'Church of the Pines'. A few Red House Painters gems find their way in the live set, from Old Ramon’s 'Cruiser' all the way back to Rollercoaster’s 'Katy Song'. Also debuting here is the unreleased Kozelek take on Thin Lizzy’s 'Randolph’s Tango', available only on the vinyl pressing and digital versions of the record.

I purchased this new from Sun Kil Moon's website and have carefully taken care of it ever since.  The records have been cleaned on my VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine and the record sleeve has always been stored in a poly outer sleeve to protect it from shelf wear.  These records are very cool looking.  They look black (or at least dark) until you hold them up to the light.  Then you can see that they're actually red and green.  It arrived to my home from SKM with a dent near the spine (from being a 2x LP record in a single sleeve) which is very common.  I think this only detracts very slightly from the condition of the sleeve and is hardly noticeable, but you can see it in the pictures.  The records themselves look brand new.
