Record comes in original Columbia sleeve.
The Mark Leeman Five attracted a fair amount of attention on the British R&B circuit during the mid-'60s, but their career was cut short by the death of singer Leeman in 1965. The group played a respectable mod/ beat R&B sound and had the patronage of the Manfred Mann group (who produced several of Leeman's sessions) The original incarnation of the group only released a couple singles, though much unissued material was eventually unearthed.
