The Mars Volta
“A Plaque Upon Your Hissing Corpse”
Matrix #109642/109643
7” Released in 2010
This is a fantastic single-sided 7”, self-released by the band and limited to only 300 hand-numbered copies. This record has been repressed at least twice already on purple and green vinyl, but this is a copy from the very first pressing on silvery clear vinyl with black streaks in it. This copy is numbered #120, and comes in a fully silk screen printed sleeve that is glued on three sides and opens on the right (like an LP sleeve). The song is a deleted outtake from their album “Deloused In The Comatorium, and the b-side completely blank and uncut.

The grade of the record is NM and looks unplayed. The cover grades to NM as well with no sign of handling or storage wear. This is a beautiful copy of a scarce first edition.

Grading is done according to the Goldmine Grading Standards using the following scale: Mint/NM/VG/G/P with the appropriate + or - to further describe the condition. Please click here for my Complete Grading Criteria. “Mint” is essentially new, and “Poor” is essentially unplayable. I do not use ‘Excellent’ in my grading model because Goldmine doesn’t use it, and it has no standard meaning. I have 19 years of experience with the Goldmine system, and grade conservatively so you’ll have no surprises.
