Wierd one this:- Spoken word with jazz samples and various actors voices. Marshall McLuhan was a Canadian philosopher and ones of the cornerstones of the study of media theory. He was credited with predicting the World Wide Web almost thirty years before it was invented. This recording was originally broadcast on WBAI-FM New York May1967. Graded as follows. Vinyl has that unplayed look with clean labels. Good sheen and excellent sound quality. EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Herbert Marshall McLuhan (1911-1980) was a Canadian educator, philosopher, scholar, a professor of English literature, a literary critic, a rhetorician, and a communication theorist. McLuhan's work is viewed as one of the cornerstones of the study of media theory, as well as having practical applications in the advertising and television industries. McLuhan is known for coining the expressions "the medium is the message" and "the global village" and predicted the World Wide Web almost thirty years before it was invented. This recording combines selections from the book with an eclectic mix of musical samples and original musical accompaniments. Script by Marshall McLuhan & Quentin Fiore; Voice Actors: Marshall McLuhan, Quentin Fiore, Jerome Agel, Ann Lynn, Bob McFadden, Bryna Raeburn, Elisabeth Lohman, John Culkin, John Simon, Sugar Wagner. This recording was originally broadcast on WBAI-FM, New York in May 1967.
