1967 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
On the black & silver Tamla Motown label: STML 11051
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in an front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original black & white inner-sleeve advertising other Motown LPs.
Matrix numbers: STML 11051 A-1G & STML 11051 B-1G
Stamper numbers: 1/G & 1/R
These mother/stamper numbers on side 1 place this copy amongst the first few hundred ever pressed.

Condition
Labels: MINT
No spindle trails to either label.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are pristine and totally unmarked when viewed in strong daylight & display just a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve paper hairlines directly under halogen. There are no scuffs, marks or scratches anywhere on this disc. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: MINT
This perfect 'as new' disc is possibly unplayed and sounds immaculate from start to finish. There are absolutely no traces of audible wear or faults anywhere. This is as good as it gets.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A wonderful clean & strong example with an undamaged high-gloss front bearing just a few minor wrinkles but no other creasing or wear. There is slight bruising to the lower corners but there really is little to fault here. The rear panel is perfectly clean and bright with no writing or missing paper and all flipbacks, seams & the spine are all unsplit, unstressed and undamaged.
