Description
MARTHA VELEZ
Fiends And Angels (Lp)
(SIRE/London Records SES 97008)
Gatefold Jacket Excellent condition for being 43 years old. No seamsplits, no spine damage, no writing with a half peeled off sticker on front side. Very tiny cornerbends and some slight edge/corner wear. Overall, a strong, thick and solid gatefold jacket that looks and feels great for being 43 years old
Vinyl in Excellent condition for being 43 years old. Shine and lustre still intact. Some signs of very light superficial markings that do not affect playback. Labels perfect. I do not know if the London sleeve is origional, however, it is in very very good shape with 2 short/medium seamsplits. I always include a brand new white sleeve with poly inserts that protect the vinyl. Overall, this is a great vinyl record, highly collectible and extremely enjoyable when played on your turntable.
Another must have in anybody's collection. The musicians on this record are all giants in their field which include Eric Clapton, Mitch Mitchell, Jack Bruce, Paul Kossoff, Brian Auger, Jim Capaldi, Christine McVie, etc. Jimmy Page wanted to play on this record, however, he showed up late to the sessions. Martha Velez was a relative unknown during these recording sessions and did a great job performing with all the greats from the British Blues World of the late 1960's. This vinyl recording became a cult classic and is highly collectible today.
