Description

This is an auction of a very rare classic Jazz LP offered at NO RESERVE Marty Paich Quartet Featuring Art Pepper - ORIGINAL DG RED VINYL TAMPA TP-28 MONO. A true gem of a record with great compositions and wonderful sax solos by Pepper - all recorded in vivid almost audiophile quality excellent mono. 

Record has been PLAY GRADED completely after 4 cleanings with a VPI professional record cleaner. Record is VISUALLY graded as VG+ with many light and moderate hairlines - PLAY GRADES VG+ to VG++ in general with light background crackles and also includes a single instance of a loud noise at the very last second of side 1. Labels show very little spindle wear. Plays with vibrant enjoyable sound. Cover is VG to VG+ with some aging and wear at edges including a 1" split at top right, 2" of fraying at top left and a 4" split at bottom center. There is also a name and address written on back upper left corner in faint blue ink. Please see the ENLARGED PHOTOS for more details.
