Marty Robbins "In the Wild West Vols 1-5" LP Bear Family PRISTINE simply superb

I am Ben from Stockholm, Sweden and they call be the Swedish Cowboy. Musically I am the coolest person on the planet. I especially love two forms of music...hardcore (the hardest) honky tonk country and wild surf style guitar. A strange mix you might say and possibly true but here you will find the best of both worlds.I also love blues, rockabilly, old timey and anything else only the coolest have but you would probably expect this! THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION I am selling. Everything is in great condition. I bought most new and would always make a copy to play so most would only have been actually played one or two times. Whenever I played my albums I would wear white cotton gloves. I am selling as my Japanese ice skating champion wife has convinced me it is time to share my music and closing my herring pickling business in Sweden also frees me up to do this. Anyone who buys one of my records is truly blessed.I have lived in Australia just on 30 years and you can really call me The Aussie Swedish Cowboy if you wish as that is what I am. I love everything about my new home. I am pleased to be able to offer my collection. I have a lot and the likes of it will never appear again on any sale platform. My friend Steve (ebay seller steveswr53) is handling my listings for me. Remember though I am the one and only Swedish Cowboy.

Marty Robbins "In the Wild West Vols 1-5" LP Bear Family PRISTINE simply superb!
THIS IS A GREAT BUY

Marty Robbins is one of the greatest country singers ever. By my reckoning he is top 10, maybe even top 5. Nobody was more versatile but versatility aside his interpretations of western songs was on a level of its own. Think finale of "Breaking Bad" where Walt finds a cassette of the classic "Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs". A new generation was introduced to "El Paso". "You can't release that as a single!!" he was told. Indeed in the days where singles would be mostly under 2 minutes duration it would be strange for something beyond 5 minutes to do well but defying trends was something Marty was good at and it reached number one on the Billboard Charts. Crystal clear enunciation and rivetting storyline backed by an intricate Spanish style guitar courtesy of Grady Martin make "El Paso" an unforgettable experience. Bear Family quality is always something I spoke about when I had a shop...there was good quality...great quality and Bear Family quality...simply better than anyone else. This long out of print 5 lp set collects Marty's western songs in just about chrological order. But exceptions make them better. The first Lp (vol 1) not only contains "El Paso" but its two answer songs as well ..."Feleena from El Paso" and "El Paso City". Volume 5 contains one of his best story songs "Mr Shorty" and the humour filled "Cowboy in a Continental Suit" which gives a new bent to the rodeo song.
