Description
Master Fury - Circles Of Hate (ICBM Record 30663) Released 1989.
This is a super rarity in the world of private metal. This auction is for a set of test pressings containing 2 records.
The Trenton, New Jersey-based metal band Master Fury had issues when mixing their second album. The sleeve marked "Beat Sulks Maan!" contains a rejected test press. There is too much low frequency in the mix (probably to make it sound heavier after the fact), to the point of the entire recording sounding muddy. It is rare that a rejected test press survives for fear of accidentally pressing the wrong version. This could very well be the only surviving copy of the rejected mix.
The second test pressing, marked "Beats," on the label, is the re-mixed version with the low frequencies corrected. This is the mix that was approved by the band. The run of the album's pressing all sound like this approved test press.
The records are extremely clean and shiny and do not skip.
There is only 1 cover for the 2 records. The record that is not in a sleeve will be packed carefully in between cardboard and then both will be carefully packaged in a larger outer box..
I will not sell the records separately. They are available as a set only.
