Rare! Amazing piece of Disneyana! "Mattel Musical Map" Your trip to Disneyland on Records. 
Mint New item was never used, records were not cut out and never played. You can still see the plastic film layer on each of the records. All in tact. Was professionally framed (this alone cost $250) the framing features high quality non glare plexiglass, with a beautiful retro suede aqua fabric surround. This picks up nicely on the colors in the map. The map colors are incredibly beautiful vintage tones, especially the oranges. 
This 5 record set was originally released in 1955, the year the park opened. It was designed for kids all over the country who did not have the ability to visit the park. A way to hear the sounds and stories of all the various lands. I was able to find a recording on the internet. The voices are so different from the way they were later portrayed in cartoons, etc. Genius marketing. 
The beautifully illustrated map was an artist rendering of one of the original layouts for the park, which is somewhat different from the final design. The bumps you see in the close up shots of each record is due to the original thin plastic film covering protection over each individual record to protect it from scratching. I did not remove it or make any changes to its original condition. The original envelope on the far left of the piece is the way it was packaged. 
What I also love about this piece is the old fashioned price stamps you can see on the envelope (look closely) that were put on there most likely by the shop that was selling it. Looks like it was marked down a couple of times! 
Measurements: 54 1/4 inches wide, 17 3/4 inches tall and the frame has a depth of 1 1/2 inches. It is a beautiful metallic bronze frame that compliments the piece.
