Up for auction is my copy of the single LP Test Pressing of the Classic Records release of Matthew Sweet's "Girlfriend" on 180gram vinyl. These highly collectible test pressings are from the first stamper and less than 20 are said to exist. Test pressings reflect the closest you can get to the lacquers and hence have a special collectible value and store of value. The cover is VG+ and the LP is a very strong VG+ condition.

The record has been played a handful of times on my Linn Axis turntable and it looks and sound great (I just played it one last time)! I will pack with care in a new record mailer with the cover in a clear sleeve and the record outside of the jacket. I am in the process of selling off the bulk of my record collection that I have been assembling since I bought Kiss Alive in 1975 when I was 9 years old.
