Description
For sale is an ultra rare LP (I literally can't find another copy of this one for sale anywhere) from 1977, Maurice Andre "Die Meister Diskothek," on the German Erato/RCA imprint #66502, stereo. The vinyl is clean and shiny, I see only a couple of very small visual imperfections, only one of which produces a light tick near the beginning of track 2 during the very soft opening section, most of this plays perfectly and like new. The jacket is nice, there are a few light and very thin creases near the edges, a hint of sticker residue upper right. Overall really a nice record, both jacket and vinyl, just a few minor imperfections keep it from EX on both counts. Also included is an ultra rare (note: this is a different recording than the more common piece with a similar name that I found, I can't find another copy of this 1989 recording anywhere) LP by Maurice Andre and Hedwig Bilgram on the EMI/His Master's Voice label from Germany # 7-49721, Trompete Und Orgel, German press. The vinyl couldn't sound any better and really looks pretty darn perfect to my eyes, just beautiful. The jacket is almost perfect too, I only see a hint of sticker residue upper left when looking at an angle, really just a great copy of a hard to find import. Finally there is a beautiful copy of Maurice Andre "Sechs Trompetenkonzerte," German EMI/Electrola #C 065-28 242, unsure of year. The vinyl couldn't look much nicer and sounds great, just a couple of really tiny micro scuffs in bright light but not much at all, really shiny and clean. The jacket is nice overall with a little shelf wear, mostly near the corners, the main front picture still really attractive, good copy of a hard to find import. Also includes a US pressing of the rare Trumpet Concertos EMI Angel pressing DS-37984 with Iona Brown and Bernard Soustrot, solid EX vinyl, VG+ jacket.
