Description

Max Roach (with Eric Dolphy, Booker Little, Abbey Lincoln, Art Davis, Julian Priester, Mal Waldron, Clifford Jordan, etc.)  PERCUSSION BITTER SWEET  Impulse 8 Stereo, recorded 1961. original gatefold.  Orange and black label.  Back of jacket “ABC-PARAMOUNT”.  Disc is very clean and quiet:  NM.  Jacket also NM:  crisp in every regard, but with the one small paint splotch visible in photo. Also includes original catalog inner sleeve.

Here’s the sixteenth of about 30 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
