Description

Mono. Yellow-orange label, deep groove. Max Roach, drums on all 5 tracks. 2 tracks with Booker Little , trumpet; Julian Priester, trombone; Walter Benton, Coleman Hawkins, tenor sax; James Schenck, bass; Abbey Lincoln, vocals. 2 tracks with Little, trumpet; Priester, trombone; Benton, tenor Sax; Schenck, bass; Micheal Olatunji, Ray Mantillo, Thomas De Vall, percussion. 1 tracks with Roach, drums and Lincoln, vocal. Recorded in NYC in 1960.

Cover: Fair The spine has completely split and is repaired with scotch tape. The bottom edge has 2 splits repaired with scotch tape. There is some noticeable wear on the edges as well as aging on the front and back cover. The aging has darker toning along the edges.

Record: VG+ to Mint(-) Visually shows very light wear with a few brush-like, light rub marks on Side B, less on Side A. These do not effect the sound. There are a few clicks, some, short, infrequent, light background noise. I have graded the record conservatively. Audibly checked.
