Description
Max Romeo - Fire Fe The Vatican / Jah Lloyd - Leggo - Black Art
Wow what a 45 a real gold nugget original issue 45 from outta the Black Ark, over the War In A Babylon aka Sipple Out Deh rhythm we have Maxie telling it like it is again hitting out at the church and the Pope, the flip is a masterful piece of Rasta toasting over the same rhythm by Jah Lloyd, with Perry steering the ship, another great 45.
EX to EX- only due to a few light paper marks, plays great, a really good solid copy.
Clean labels both sides, with a light record shop stamp on the B side.
I've been a collector of records for 25 years, and mainly reggae & soul over the last 15 years, I've also sold many rare and collectable Reggae & related, Northern Soul and other records, I grade according to the Record Collector Price Guide system, and have never had a problem in the past with my grading standards. I tend to err on the side of caution, but its best if you listen to the soundclip and make your own opinion, the clips are recorded directly with Audacity from my stereo with an SL1210 which just has a generic cartridge and needle in at the moment, so its basic but unadjusted.
Here it is again :
