Description
Completely vanished original copy of 1969 hard psych/soul trio blast. One of the toughest scores on the label. You'll see 10 Ill Winds for every one of these, easily... This lp seemed especially prone to ring-wear, as almost every copy i've run into over the past 20 years (I haven't run into many....) seemed to have some degree of cover/ring wear. Also, the previous owner had used packing tape to repair a split seam on the top rear part of gatefold/back cover. It doesn't look horrendous, but i've seen way better jobs at taping a split seam. Cover would be considered VG. On back cover, there is a "Not For Sale Promotion Copy" sticker in lower right corner. That being said, the record itself is in pretty amazing condition. Near mint is not a grade that I like to use, and I wouldn't grade this as Near Mint, but it's EX/EX+ for sure... Plays great, a keeper copy for sure, since you don't see this bad boy turn up too often. Other notes on condition: smallish (1 inch or so) stain on inside right side of gatefold (below tape on seam split). Also there is another small seam split on the bottom that has been taped (about 3 inches). Again, a small issue considering the rarity of this beast... Feel free to ask if you have any further questions on condition prior to buying. I'll be happy to fill you in if need be. Shipping only to the United States. Sorry, no foreign customers at this time. Shipping via Media Mail only. If you desire any other type of shipping, contact me ahead of time. No returns are accepted, so again, inquire with any questions prior to bidding. Grade is cover/record: VG/EX(+).
