Description
Rare and unusual 12 inch Paramount Studio record from the movie St Louis Blues. No cover - only the record itself is included in the listing. Has neatly etched in the trailing area the 1938 full date, PNS# and the title of the song. Assume it is a 78 - do not have a 78 record player to verify it however. It is in overall VG++ for sure to probably an Exc record (G/VG/Exc/NM scale). Nice gloss, little to no wear, clean and fairly sharp. Has a few very light small line marks and that's about it on the I Go For side. Other side has hardly any marks. No cracks, damage, or deep marks of any kind. Solid but not mint. Clean white labels. Not an expert but research indicates this may have been made for use only by the Paramount Picture Studio for the music in the making of the movie St Louis Blues and not issued as such for sale to the public in this 12" format. Will be packed good in a strong box.
