The incredibly rare original 1978 Swedish Only pressing EMI 3LP set in a gatefold sleeve of the Peter Maxwell Davies Salome Ballet music, from Furst & the Danish Radio Orchestra. I think this one never had a General British release because of the racy nude front cover and maybe the pics inside. That was not the sort of thing to deter scandinavians, but its Avant Garde nature would have meant small sales at that time. Over the years it grew to be considered the lost classic of his body of work, and the performance of it here is electrifying. Its previous owner paid £60 for this in 1986, so what should it be worth now?.
