Description

May Blitz - The 2nd Of May, Vinyl LP, Vertigo 1971 - 1st Press 6360037

Purchased by my father in the early 70s. It has only ever been a part of his record collection for the last 50 years or so. He has decided to let this one go hence it being listed.

Vinyl/LP:
It has been played very little over the years. Looking at the surface on both sides it looks in extremely good condition. There is 1 extremely faint, hairline scratch across tracks 2, 3 and 4. So faint I couldn't get it in a photo and it doesn't effect the sound what so ever. Very slight spindle marks around the centre hole of the LP......these are faint. I have played through and it crackles a bit, now and again, but overall plays through very well and sounds great.

Cover:
Gatefold cover is in excellent condition. Has had a plastic sleeve over it for past few years however for a good part of the years has been stored without. There are slight rub marks to the cover, it being quite pale in colour makes it a little more noticeable but still in excellent condition for 50 years! The spine is in good shape, some wear as you'd expect but minimal considering age. The corners have a little wear too.....again this is going to be the case after 50 years.

Original vertigo dust sleeve for the LP in excellent condition too. Again, some creasing and discolouration etc but to be expected.

Please see photos of the LP, gatefold cover and dust sleeve that are attached.

I will post Royal Mail Special delivery to minimise time in the postage system. It will be packaged carefully in a proper LP mailer and bubble wrapped. This means tracked and covered for damage. The postage description couldn't be altered on eBay to the correct one but the price reflects that service and a proper cardboard mailer.

I have put a reserve on this due to the rarity of the item.

Thanks for looking. Happy bidding!
