Description
This rare record is in beautiful condition (I know that's not a Goldmine category, but it's true). Cover is solid and clean as is the record. Listen to the clip. All you hear is Hope and David and the band... etc. ... as it should be with a well cared for record.
THIS IS WHO YOU ARE BUYING (records/books/clothes etc.) FROM (and even though I focus on records in this disclaimer, it basically applies to everything I am selling):
I “understand” Goldmine grading … but it is not an exact science. So in addition to the pictures of the records I put up, I will try to put up a representative sound clip. I am not trying to fool anyone, rip anyone off etc., etc., etc. … and I want to maintain solid rating on eBay. Please ask questions and let me know if you have any concerns.
I bought my first record in 1958: The Coasters’ Charlie Brown. I brought it to show and tell in second grade. I was hooked and throughout the 8-track, cassette and CD years, I never stopped buying records.
I’ve always taken care of MY records (not all the records I have NOW originated with me – in the 80s people dumped collections on me - although many have). I didn’t bring my records to college because I didn’t want beer spilled on them or a drunk carelessly scratching the tonearm across the surface. Instead I recorded them and brough my reel-to-reel.
First I worked in radio, then TV and finally as a communication professor for 36 years. After I retired, I began helping a friend in his brick and mortar record store in Rock Island, IL.
I still love my records but I am finally beginning to realize I can’t take them with me (although I’d like to). So I am beginning to thin my herd.
