DESCRIPTION This comes from my personal collection records Original italian pressing on Fonit cetra international from 1973. M’Bamina were an obscure european combo based in italy and French during the early 70s. With this obscure italian-only issue they present Watchi Wara an alternative afro funk version of a latin classic tune. Super harmonies, killer guitar lines, rumbling basslines, power percussion, all in a wicked deep funk style! Wendo is highlife funk that progresses gradually with a pounding percussions, afro vocals and killer psych guitars. In short, a great double-sider single suitable for Afro funk/Latin funk Djs!!!. Rare record. Listen to the soundclip!
