WINGS - 'BACK TO THE EGG'
This NEAR MINT UK 1st pressing dates from initial release in June 1979 and is on a custom EMI/Parlophone label: PCTC 257
Matrix numbers: YEX 987-2 & YEX 988-1
Stamper codes: 4/AL & 1/OH
Vinyl weight: 136g
Housed within an unlaminated, heavy card stock 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover.
Complete with its original die-cut printed card inner-sleeve with clear plastic centre window.

A spectacular set with just two or three faint spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole, but none on 1.
Visual: MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are totally 'as new' and unmarked in both strong daylight AND upon close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. 100% flat on the turntable when playing too.
Play: NEAR MINT
Totally flawless sound form this immaculate audio copy has been played only once by its previous audiophile owner to tape. No upgrade necessary here.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A superb unworn and strong example which bears none of the usual storagewear rubbing to the easily worn front panel. There are just two light wrinkles to the upper edge but no 'thumbnails' or any spine bends. All corners are sharp and unbumped and both opening edges are unworn. There are two tiny marks on the rear track listing but no other traces of wear. Both seams and the spine are all unstressed & unsplit.

Clean, flat & uncreased with just small splits to the lower and right seam.
