Please note I'm not a record dealer, I’m downsizing and sadly my small record collection from the late 60's and early 70's has to go.  Hopefully I’ve listed all the necessary information below however if you have any questions or queries please email and I'll do my best to answer them

 

McDonald And Giles

  • Self titled album McDonald and Giles
  • Island Records IPLS-9126 stereo recording, year 1970 - Ist UK pressing
  • Matrix / run-out: A-Side run-out stamped IPLS-9126  A-2U also stamped 1 and G on opposite sides of run-out
  • Matrix / run-out: B-Side run-out stamped IPLS-9126  B-2U also stamped 1 and L on opposite sides of run-out
  • The vinyl is not warped and in amazing condition considering its age.  The vinyl is clean and untarnished.  On side one there is a surface mark, however I played the album before listing and there was no interference.  There are no jumps and only minor crackles during play.  I thought both sides gave an excellent play, I would rate the condition of this album as very good to excellent. 
  • The labels on both sides are in perfect condition, with zero spindle marks
  • My research leads me to believe this is an original 1st UK pressing, with the now famous white i logo on the pink background.  Gate-fold sleeve, the sleeve outer shows initial signs of shelf storage, minimal wear marks on the corners and spine
  • When I played this before listing I reckon that's its first play in 40 years
