Early issue with the Pink ' I ' label - a really early copy from late 1970 . Matrix 2u /2u STAMPERS 1M / 1P
This is a rare and fairly hard to find album from two members of the original King Crimson line-up, Ian Macdonald and Michael Giles. It's a first stereo pressing with the EJ Day gatefold sleeve.
The disc is visually excellent still has it's original shine and lustre. On close inspection I can see some light hairlines and a few very slight rubs. It plays through very nicely with a little background static audible in places. There is a very small scratch about 1 cm from the end of side one that does cause a few clicks , lasting for about 30 seconds. Apart from this there is very little to fault with the audio. There is a moderate amount of spindle trails on each pink label but no writing, stains or tears. The overall grade for the disc is very good+.
The matt EJ Day cover is a great example of one that is hard to find in decent condition. A first issue that has survived extremely well. There are a couple of small line indentations on the front but no creases at all. The edges and the spine are fully intact With all text intact and fully legible. All corners are still sharp. The inner gatefold is in lovely undamaged condition . A great example of this rare cover, in excellent condition. The original plain white inner sleeve is in excellent condition with no splits.
