I am having to rationalise my vinyl collection due to space issues, so up to 300 albums must go.  Mainly rock, but with a good smattering of Folk, Jazz and some Musicals and Classical - including some desirable rarities.  So if you can't find what you want now, please keep popping back to check out the latest offerings.

Description:

Cover: This design of unlaminated gatefold cover is prone to wear and tear, and indeed this copy displays some edgewear and corner bumps. But overall the heavy card cover is in great condition with sharp opening edges, a fabulously strong/straight totally legible spine with no unwanted writing or other marks - VG+.

Inner sleeve: The correct poly-lined light blue Island inner is a little faded and age marked. However, there are no splits and no writing or other unwanted marks VG+.

Labels: The 1st press pink Island labels are beautifully clean with just a couple of tiny dents on side 2, but these look like they have been there since the day it was pressed. There are no more than 2 or 3 spindle marks on each side - Ex+.

Vinyl: The vinyl displays a great shine with just the most insignificant of surface marks. The matrices are A-2U and B-2U, the stampers are 1GD on both sides. Important - there is a slight warp to the record but, listening at volume on headphones on my revealing equipment (see below), it has no discernible untoward effect on the quality of playback.

Side 1 - The very lightest trace of background at the start, but after that it's just flawless, rich, sonorous playback. I listened to this, as usual, at volume using headphones and there is hardly an untoward sound to be heard even in the quietest, most delicate, passages. A wonderful side of music - NM-.
Side 2 - A little light background in the very quiet opening passage. From then on it is once again sensationally clear playback - NM-.

Records are play-tested on a highly revealing Linn LP12 (Sondek) with Ittok arm and Ortofon Tango cartridge. I listen on headphones to try and ensure every detail is captured.

Please note, I will always try to grade my records as accurately as possible in line with the Record Collector scale.  I am a collector as well as a seller and I know how disappointing it can be to receive an item that does not come up to your expectations.  If in doubt I will be conservative, and I will always point out any flaws.

I am happy to mail items to North America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the European Union. However, I will only mail using the 'International Signed For' service.  This does make it a little more expensive, but does ensure that your item arrives safely and saves any disputes, which I can do without! Please do not bid for an item if you are not prepared to pay for this service.

£8.50 p&p for EU and £11.50 for North America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand - I will reimburse any significant difference in actual cost, if you pay via PayPal.

**RETURNS POLICY**
