Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Meddle by Pink Floyd, UK first pressing from 1971 on Harvest SHVL 795.
The stamped matrix no.s are SHVL 795 A - 1U and SHVL 795 B - 1U
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition with just one very faint hair line on Side One, only noticeable under a strong light. It doesn't affect play. There is some very faint occasional crackle during the first few seconds of the begiining of each side. This is probably caused by a small amount of dust.. The labels are clean with no stickers, writing, scuffs, spindle marks or stains.
The textured, inside and out, gatefold cover, printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., is in Excellent condition. There are no tears, stains, shelf wear, stickers or writing. The spine is perfectly legible. The only blemishes I can find are a few very faint creases close to the spine, noticeable from the inside, and the spine looks like it's been flattened slightly.
The white EMI inner sleeve (giving notes about the care of your record) just has the usual faint browning / ageing to the edges.
