Description
For all you collectors of Garage Psych, we have a VERY RARE gem called "MEDIA" on HMS # 4 . Only 500 were pressed and only a handful were sold at dances only, never any outlet! This group was out of Victoria British Columbia in the mid 60s ,and after having no success they went under 3 or 4 other names. After 4 failed attempts they separated and never regrouped! After much research I found one of the original members of Media, Ted Kyte who wrote and played guitar on the A side "Endless Dream" ( listen on youtube) he gave me all the info behind this awesome band! Both songs on this 45 flat out RIPS! Endless Dream starts out rocking then in the middle break, it steps it up a notch very brilliantly! B side is "Girl I Want You " starts out with a slow keyboard vocal...Then look out! A hammering Farfisa keyboard keeping the tempo through out this record! This 45 has its scratches, but lite ones. No major scratches. In fact it still has a great glow and shine with minimal pops and no skips. I have never seen this come up on eBay or Popsike ! This 45 never got airplay and will probably never surface in the states other then this one and the one on youtube! I grade this VG. Heres your only chance to have this butt kickin rocker in your Psych collection!!
