Description
Ginny Arnell "Meet Ginny Arnell" 1964 MGM E-4228 original MONO LP in overall EXC condition, complete with MGM inner sleeve; Virginia Mozarro (real name) was most active in the late 1950's and early 1960's, and had an interesting career - she partnered with Gene Pitney for Decca Records in 1959, and in 1963 had a #3 hit for WLS (Chicago) with "Dumb Head" for MGM (#50 in the Hot 100), she appeared on Bandstand; and was also quite popular in Japan; you could say her style is very much "east coast, teenage girl group genre, early doo-wop/soul"; she had several other songs that were quite popular at that time; by 1965 she retired, got married and raised a family; the cover and record are both in EXC condition, there is a clean distributor's/promo punch hole at the bottom left, comes with a colorful MGM inner sleeve, this album (with the funny cover), though rare, garners really good reviews. U.S. buyer to pay $4.00 media shipping (priority available upon request). International buyer please inquire for shipping costs, I generally use Ebay International Shipping. Insurance at the discretion of the buyer.
