Description
My Kool Kollectibles is very pleased to offer this 1ST EDITION release of Meet The Beatles (Capitol T-2047), originally issued on January 20, 1964 in the U.S. now over 50 years ago! To fill the initial orders, Capitol rush released this LP and did not wait to obtain performance rights information prior to ordering its initial batch of record labels. Therefore, the FIRST labels prepared for this album were printed without the BMI or ASCAP information. This record does NOT contain any of the publishing info...therefore making it a FIRST PRESSING! This is a Scranton Pressing as the number "3" is visible on the back right bottom corner. Of the millions of copies of this LP that were sold, only the initial 20,000 or so were issued with these labels...making this a very scarce and sought after variation! This record would grade a VG to a VG+ has some visible lines, nothing deep. One noticeable scuff. Very shiny, very clean...really nice record! The cover is beautiful...would grade a NM- if not for a small crease near Paul's face on the front. Otherwise, all seams intact, no writing or stickers and sharp corners! Overall, a awesome example of the very 1st issue of one of thee most historic LP's ever issued! Bid with confidence...click on my feedback history! Remember...I guarantee all my records will match my description or you're money back! Bid on Multiple Auctions as I combine shipping to SAVE YOU MONEY!
