Description

MEET THE BEATLES
Capitol MONO T-2047
This album has the SECOND LABEL VARIATION, only 1 BMI on "I want to hold your hand"
NO PRODUCER CREDIT ON COVER

Album has the "triangle" stamp in the dead wax  indicating the factory pressing in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Cover Condition:  The cover is in Excellent shape with practically no rub wear on edges or corners. All seams and the spine are firmly in tact.  Slightest of ring wear.  No writing or stickers but does has a stamp mark in the back upper right hand corner, shown in photo.  Seriously an amazing cover!  You will be hard pressed to find a cover in this condition. VG+ (due only to slightest ring wear, NM should not have at all)

Album Condition: Album in plain white sleeve. Label are free of any rips, tears, writing, or stickers.  Side 2 of the album has some minimal surface wear but nothing that looks deep, looks really nice.  Side 1 has more wear than side 2 but still looks very good.
1/30/10  JUST PLAYED ALBUM.  No skips at all, I did not notice crackling or pops, sounded really good.  The last song on each side faded in and out a bit.  (Not sure about system I am using.  Very old record player and only 1 of two speakers working.)  I imagine with a proper cleaning and played on a good system,  this album will sound even better.

****My record player will be repaired before this auction ends therefore I will play and update listing once I get it back and can properly listen to album.
