Description
Welcome....This is an original 1964 mono Capitol Records pressing of Meet The Beatles, catalog # T-2047.
This copy has no mention of George Martin (producer) on the back cover signifying a st pressing and has only one song "I Want To Hold Your Hand" credited to BMI on the record labels. All other songs are credited to ASCAP.
There is a #3 near the RIAA stamp on the back cover making it an east coast (Scranton) pressing.
The cover is very solid and clean with seams and spine in perfect condition and the spine print is perfectly readable. There are two lightly bumped corners on the mouth side and a bit of very light staining can be seen on the back cover above the top print. (See Pictures) This is the only thing keeping the cover from a higher grade. It is graded as Excellent.
The vinyl is in VG (Very Good) condition showing some wispy hairline scuffs, I don't see any real scratches on either side and the vinyl plays with some light to moderate background noise. A nice player copy and a 54 year old piece of Beatles nostalgia in pretty nice condition overall.
The original blue inner sleeve is included in VG+ condition.
Buyer pays shipping cost. USA bidders only. Payments by Paypal only and are due within 2 days of auctions end.
