Description

An original STEREO1st issue on USA Capitol. Not a really early 1st. This is in fact the 3rd label variation 3xBMI. And would have been available relatively early in the chart run. IAM Scranton presaing. Remember Stereo still in relative infancy at this point. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original paste-over cover. Please note there's no mention of George Martin that you find on later copies. Will ship in anti-static inner.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In super condition and has only seen  lightest use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback....with slight deviation in one spot per side. Intros and inbetweens are nice and clean and the audio comes across. And this example is managing, predominantly, a very nice clean and assured delivery. Expect nothing more than a few crackles in 'This Boy' and a couple of isolated ticks. But it still plays great. And a couple of ticks in the closing moments of 'Hold Your Hand'. This record is acing it. High class and difficult to put down!
Cover (Ex-) Really well preserved particularly given it's a US cover. Great condition with some handling signs on the front - but much better than you typically find. Minimal signs of ageing - which I'd argue is highly unusual. The spine is 80% intact which is pretty unusual too. Some very minor edge wear but it is looking way better than the average copy. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
