Meet The Beatles
Reel to Reel Tape Capitol L 2047 7-1/2 IPS
The Beatles first album for Capitol from 1964 on the rare reel to reel format at the prefered 7-1/2 IPS speed. The box has very small hair line splits at the top and bottom thumb tab but other than that is in great shape. The front picture shows no wear at all. There are some minor ripples where the paper was attached to the box at the factory on the front and back. The back is white with back text and is very clean. There is one crease down the left side. The reel is VG, clear with a white label. In general, a very nice looking piece. Please check out the scans to get a better idea of my descriptions. Meet The Beatles came out in a number configurations on reel to reel. There is a regular size 3-3/4 IPS, a 5" four track stereo, a 5 " four track stereo and the 7-1/2 IPS posted here. I have up for auction the other versions as well for any you who want to collect all the variations. Also, over the next few weeks, I will be posting almost every Beatle reel released, 7-1/2, 3-3/4, 7", 5", some UK reels, solo reels and Beatles related.
