Description

I am not a vinyl guy but I do find some cool records at yard sales.  This weekend I found this.  It is a super rare Meet The Beatles on Capitol T 2047 in its original Sears and Roebucks baggy wrap.  From what I read there are only about 25 of these on Earth!  Check out this collector's page: http://www.fab4collectibles.com/capitol_lp_albums.htm

Not in mint condition but the wrap looks like it has never been off.  The record is well worn with many scratches.  Someone wrote the Beatles ages in ink on baggy wrap on the rear but it does not go through to the cover.  Not sure how to grade the cover as I think the plastic has a bit of schmutz on it.  There is the beginning of some cracking of the top of the spine.  But if it's this rare, it has to be worth the asking price. Has original inner sleeve. Buyer pays Priority Mail and Tracking in the USA.  International buyer are strongly urged to purchase tracking as I will not be responsible for lost mail.  Payment is required within 10 days of the end of the auction.  Thanks.

I've been getting some emails about this record, so let me see if I can help.   The number near the RIAA logo is hidden by a red area of the wrap, so I can't read it without removing the wrap for what I think would be the first time. I do not think the cover is perfect condition but it's pretty nice.   There are BMI/ASCAP credits after each song.
