ALL ALBUMS ARE CLEANED WITH THE NITTY GRITTY DIRT MACHINE 1.5 PRIOR TO SHIPMENT.

Up for your consideration are The Beatles-Meet the Beatles. Capitol T-2047. There were 4 original releases of this album. According to Goldmine "Black label with colorband; "Beatles" on cover in tan to brown print; no producer credit on back cover; ASCAP and BMI credits are missing on the label. (this is the first edition of the LP)"  The vinyl is in VG to VG+ condition with some light scratches. I have played the album and there is a little background light popping through one song on the 2nd side (I think Till There Was You), but the rest of the album sounds terrific. The inner sleeve is the dark blue-standard Capitol-and advertises other albums of the day. The jacket has severe edge damage on the spine and moderate/severe edge damage on the top. The spine has been taped. There is light/moderate ring wear and an ink "doodle" in the upper left corner of the reverse of the album.  I've tried to be as specific as possible about the condition.

 Ratings:  Mint-Absolutely perfect and usually still sealed.

NM-A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. The sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling.  The jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits, or any other noticeable similar defect.  No cut out holes.

VG+ The record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.   Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience.  Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.  The label may have some ring wear or discoloration but it should be barely noticeable.  The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.  Inner sleeves will have some slight ring wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear and may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation, or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.

VG: Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise.  Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches that will affect the sound (deep enough to feel with a fingernail). Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers or their residue attached.  The same will be true of covers.

Good-Good Plus:   It will play without skipping.  But it will have significant surface noises and scratches and visible groove wear.  A jacket will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.
