MEGA-RARE!
Original PENTAPHON label W/L PROMO pressing, Cat#. M 502, Italy.
Ultra-scarce and seldom seen Italian Jazz Library LP on the killer Pentaphon label, parent of Beat Records, home of other rare gems like the Mario Molino's I Beats and the killer 45 "Operazione Beat". We have probably the same line-up of musicians playing in this session. Part of a series which comes with all the same hard cardboards sleeve design, sometimes numbered. Not more than 6 or 7 volumes floating around. Music is here signed by organist Giorgio Carnin as author with music performed by 'Complesso I Beats" including the addition of session men Max Albert on trumpet, F.Battimelli at the flute, and Quarto Maltoni on sax and flute. Lovely Easy Listening and Smooth Jazz sounds, Bossa cues deeply Lounge and soft with 3 superb Jazz-Beat themes coming out. Insanely Rare!

Side A openers are the two themes of "BRONX", on the first version distinguished by an extraordinary trumpet accompained by a superb high-quality Jazzy jam and vibraphone too. 2nd version is more rhytmic and groovy for a great Jazz-Beat, Shake tempo and Lounge style. "QUANDO C'ERA IL SOLE" and "ULTIMO QUARTO" are lovely Bossa themes. On the other side we find a great Giallo Jazz theme, "OPERAZIONE CITTA'" is '60s-styled action movie Score with Jazzy Beats & atmospheres. Chasing sweet Bossa "RINCORRENDO IL SOLE", "FLAUTO HOLYDAY" dope obsessive groove with central flute notes. Highly-collectable piece!
