Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Megadeth – The world needs a hero – RARE Vinyl LP album from 2001.
PLEASE NOTE: This record has been mastered at a low volume so you have to turn the volume up higher than most records. This can reveal some surface noise and clicks.
Vinyl Condition: VG (The record has does have some sleeve scuffs and light scratches in places. There are a few slight blotchy scuffs on side two which cause some clicky sounds but nothing terrible. The record plays great with nice quality. There may be the odd pop and light crackle in places but overall the record plays great).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain whit inner).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (The top edge has some visible scuffs and there is general edge and corner wear/scuffs. There spine has some scuffing and a few dents. There are some visible edge creases around the spine and some general ringwear. The front and rear faces have some dents but generally the gatefold sleeve is ok with mostly general wear).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
