Mega Rare LP of Mel Lewis - Mel Lewis Sextet (Mode LP-103 - mono) Original gray labels with deep groove on both sides. Legendary drummer Lewis along with Charlie Mariano, Bill Holman, Jack Sheldon, Marty Paich and Buddy Clark in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in solid VG+ condition with marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - actually really nice for a fifty year old LP. The cover is in strong VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stamps, NO stickers. Not perfect, but how many of these do you see at this price?
